2012 MT LARCOM SHOW BALL

The Mt Larcom Show Ball for 2012 is upon us.


Join us at the Mt Larcom Community Hall on Saturday 16 June at 7pm for the Masquerade Ball.

Popular local band JAG will be providing the entertainment for the night.

Admission cost $25.00.

Be in the running for a great raffle. Belle and Matron of the Ball contest.

Light supper, Tea and coffee served.

Bookings essential, all tickets presold.

2012 UTE MUSTER

The Mt Larcom Show Society proudly hosts the CQ Sub Chamber Finals of the State "Ute Muster" Series.


Date: Sunday 26 June 2012

Judging Commencing 10AM

To enter, simply go to the Ute Muster area and fill in an entry form. Entry nominations close 9.45am.

Cost: $10 nomination fee per vehicle & $5 per additional class entered.

Ute's will be judged against the following categories:


GROUP A

BEST STREET UTE

 True to make, added accessories, interior and exterior presentation, history of Ute (built or bought), overall presentation of vehicle.

BEST B & S UTE

  Best representative, added accessories, interior and exterior presentation, history of Ute (built or bought), overall presentation of vehicle.

BEST CHICKS UTE

Best presented female owners Ute. True to make, added accessories, interior and exterior presentation, history of Ute (built or bought), overall presentation of vehicle with female touches.

GROUP B

BEST 4X4 UTE

Best representation of a 4x4 Ute, in constant use or part time 4-wheel drive accessories added, interior and exterior presentation and overall presentation of vehicle.

BEST WORK UTE

All makes and models of Ute, tools, toolboxes, accessories, signage etc.

BEST FERAL UTE

The real character Ute, with stickers, plenty of accessories, bull-bar, antenna, dings and dents, etc.

BEST COMMERCIAL UTE

(Not part of Group B. Note eligible for the State Finals)

All makes and models, best use of business advertising and signage etc.

BEST CLASSIC UTE

Any restored Ute over 30 years of age which is roadworthy and registered with or without modifications to the engine and body but still being able to identify the "true" make and model.


Winners will be eligible to proceed to the State Finals held in Brisbane at the Royal QLD Show. (Ekka held in August).


First place winners will receive certificate, ribbon and cash prize.


Runner ups will receive certificate and prize.

New Grandstand for 2012 Mt Larcom Show

A BIG THANK YOU to Origin Energy and APLNG for their generous support in providing the funds for the new 70 seat grandstand for the 2012 Mt Larcom Show. Their support is invaluable. A special thank you to Suzanne at APLNG for her encouragement and support with this project. Stay updated on the progress of the construction phases of the grandstand on future posts.
